💫Guys, I finished this book and it absolutely SLAPPED (as our teenage boy likes to say). And let me just say…that ending, I EFFING KNEW IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! @cn_crawford This might be one of my favorites (although, I absolutely loved The Shadow Fae series). This book is imaginative, entertaining, and exhilarating. I loved the characters and the “found family” trope. If you enjoy Harry Potter and Fourth Wing, but with older characters, a slow burn that will make you feel all the feels, and a fmc with a powerful character arc, this one might be for you. Truly, I loved it. It was a fun and refreshing read. 💫⚔️🐉🔥

This book was beautifully written with excellent character and plot development. Written for lovers of romantasy, magic 💫, forbidden love, art fiction, hidden secrets, supernatural beings, and secret identities, this story is enchanting.

This book has some of my very favorite romantasy tropes: fairy tale world, found family, mated love (*swoon*), fantastical magic, badass female lead, hero vs villain, hidden secrets, and betrayal, with some very saucy spice. The plot twists were so fun and unexpected. The prologue of the book had me hooked and my inner child immediately LOVED the concept of a magic mirror. As the book progressed, the puzzle pieces came together and many of my questions were answered (although, I have a few left that I hope will be addressed in the second book). The world building was so fun and magical (hello fairy tale vibes!!) The world building was not overwhelming or hard to follow — it supported the story nicely.

I loved Eva as the main female character. She is fiercely loyal, relatable, and soooo courageous. Her character growth had me in all the feels! She’s amazing and I hope she continues to find her power in the coming books. AND, of course, Bash. What can I say?! I may have found a new book boyfriend. Bash is so sweet, loving, fierce, and handsome. I LOVED that they were written for each other — these characters truly mirror each other, in personality, soul connection, and power. The spice was spicy (like omg). However, it did NOT overwhelm the story and it was not the sole focus of the plot, which is exactly what I love in a romantasy book.

I LOVE supporting new authors and celebrating their work. This book had me HOOKED. I loved this book ❤️ so much. Guys, this book leaves us on a BIG cliff hanger (I mean the best ones do, am I right?) Check out this book when it releases! I think you will enjoy it too!!

House of Flame and Shadow

You guys. This was one of my favorite February reads. “House of Flame and Shadow” by our girl, Sarah J Maas, is the third installment in the Crescent City series. This was the stunning conclusion to Bryce and Hunt’s story. I loved it. I never wanted it to end — I tried to read it as slooowwwly as possible. Filled with fast paced action, character growth and depth, this book checked all the boxes for me. I screamed, laughed, and cried. I am sad Bryce and Hunt’s story has concluded — but man, was it a beautiful and stunning conclusion to their fierce love story. I am so excited for the next book in the series and I have some theories on which couple it will feature…thoughts anyone?! I would love to hear your ideas for the next book!!! We love you Sarah! ❤️

You guys. This book. My heart has been ripped out, stomped on, and put together again..a mended heart but still aching. I loved this book SO MUCH! 🔥❤️@sarah.a.parker.author you wrote a whimsical, beautiful, and epic fantasy that I NEVER wanted to finish. This romantasy new book series has a similar vibe to Throne of Glass by Sarah J Maas; however, this series is wholly original. The world building is imaginative, captivating, and exquisite. Despite finishing this book a few weeks ago, I cannot stop thinking about the story or the characters. I want more!!! I am so in awe of @sarah.a.parker.author talent and her poignant writing prose/styling. Check out this book today and be prepared for the story to live rent free in your mind…forever……

A River Enchanted

A River Enchanted is a magical telling of “elemental spirits that dwell in every breath of air, splash of water, blade of grass, and flicker of fire” and how a talented bard can help his community in need. I absolutely LOVE @beccajross poetic and lyrical writing. Her prose is absolutely stunning and immersive. This story has mystery, magic, and a heartfelt romance that will make your heart ache (in the best way possible)!!!! Adaira is one of my favorite characters to date, written with true depth, vulnerability, spirit, and strength. I absolutely could not wait to read the second book in the duology, A Fire Endless (which is a daring and beautiful conclusion to the series). I highly recommend this series if you’re interested in:
